“For I Know the Plans I have for you”, declares the Lord, “Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” - Jeremiah 29:11
Hello Everyone!
It is with great honor and much excitement that I introduce myself to you as your new Faith Formation Director here at Redeemer. As my first day was last Tuesday, March 7th I’ve already had the pleasure of meeting some of you.
Since I started, and after attending Wednesday’s Soup Supper and Sunday’s services this past week, my enthusiasm has soared with the warm welcome I was given by both staff and congregation. A great big shout out and special thank you to Judith Schaefer for the lovely welcome sign she made me! It was very thoughtful and much appreciated!
For the last fifteen years I have had much success in providing faith formation and spiritual direction to Sunday School children, middle and high school students, including Confirmation preparation, and youth and young adult ministries. My personal faith and devotion to our Lord are my guide in both my personal and professional life. Faith is a journey; one we travel for all our lives. We grow and change and build up our understanding with the help of scripture, worship and God’s grace. Through the help of the Holy Spirit and His gifts we can interpret and follow Gods plan for us. It is this vision of God’s providence that I believe every student deserves to see and come to know. With an easy, open-door policy and a gentle teaching method our children and young people—and we ourselves—can build together a relationship with our Lord that is unbreakable.
In the following months I look forward to getting to know everyone. I welcome the opportunity to hear your thoughts and ideas and answer any questions you may have. Please feel free to reach out to me anytime at [email protected].
Once again, I look forward to working together with hope for a bright future in faith formation.
Yours in Faith,
Ann Marie Gesualdo
