The Young Adult Ministry of the ELCA offers inspiration, opportunities and resources for young adults, between the ages of 18 and 30.
Young adults interested in peace, justice and service ministries may be interested in a year of service through the following opportunities:
Young Adults in Global Mission
Lutheran Volunteer Corps
Urban Servant Corps
Border Servant Corps
Lutheran Episcopal Volunteer Network, or LEVN, is a program of the Episcopal Service Corps (ESC). LEVN volunteers are young adults aged 21-30 with a college degree. Successful LEVN applicants are those who are passionate about service and have an interest spending a year exploring progressive Christian spirituality. You will meet—and live with—people from all over the country, from all walks of life, who have come to Sacramento to experience intentional community, service to others, and simple living. The LEVN Program Year runs from the last Saturday in August through the Last Friday in July.
Adults are encouraged to attend weekend retreats at Cross Roads Camp and Retreat Center in Port Murray, NJ.
